Neurofeedback for ADD and other disorders
Donald Magder is a holistic therapist who runs The Brain Training Center in Southfield, Michigan. He works with a process called
Neurofeedback. Neurofeedback uses computers to help balance brain waves and has been highly
effective as a drugless way to help children (and adults) with ADD, ADHD, . It also can help with Developmental Delay and
Autism. The talk will explain the basic concepts behind the approach which has been around for over 40 years. Due to the
combination of brain research and low cost computers more healers have been able to use this method in recent years.
Donald Magder. I am an expressive- holistic therapist working in Southfield. I also teach psychology at Baker and Macomb Community Colleges. It is my core belief that all healing comes from getting out of ones way and letting the natural flow of spirit take over.
To do this I use gestalt and expressive therapy (body work) to clear old emotional patterns. I also incorporate Jungian dream work to connect more directly with spirit. For children I use Neurofeedback, a computerized drugless behavioral therapy to help with ADD, ADHD, Developmental Delay and Autism. My metaphysical music troupe called Inner Mission will be
playing on the main stage with a message of unity of all religions and finding the "inner" mission we all have for purpose and peace in our lives.
